If you’ve visited North Star Community Hall recently, you’ve seen the incredible facelift underway. With gatherings, dances, music lessons, special events, and live shows filling the calendar, the Hall is truly a hub of social vitality in the Old North End.
The challenge: Finish restoring the building and make it fully accessible! We’re two-thirds of the way through our restoration effort, and will soon be able to install a wheelchair lift and an ADA-accessible restroom. We’ll also replace the last of the old siding and finish weatherizing this historic 130-year-old building.
